COSA intends to perform music on a different scale that allows for more flexibility and for the presentation of repertoire that fills the gap between small ensembles and large forces. COSA’s flexible size makes it mobile to introduce children to classical music through educational programs and special instruction. More specifically, COSA will perform for children and adults, including the elderly, who have special needs (physical, mental, or emotional) or who are maltreated or underprivileged. We believe that classical music can provide emotional, mental, and spiritual benefits to listeners in their locales and that these benefits develop the individual and build community.
